Typical weatherspoons, This time they refused to serve a girl who suffers from brain damage following a hit & run; apparently they assumed she was drunk because of her slurred speech and asked her to leave.
The thing is whenever I go to a weatherspoons (which is rarely) it seems to be the case that everyone in the place is so drunk they cant even to manage to slur their speech, and yet they get served time after time until they cant stand.
Strange way to run pubs but some people seem to like them

Very busy when we called on on Saturday morning - a good selection of ales and a fine pint of Acorn porter was enjoyed. Arrived just in time to order breakfast and although obviously standard Wetherspoons fare it was a well-cooked and presented example of its kind.

Just another weatherspoons in another city, although their food seemed far superior to anything I've had in any others.

Service was polite and fast and you get what you pay for.

Spacious bar with large windows at the front not far from the main shops and the market and just round the corner from The Old Angel(another 'spoons). Large TV screen can dominate the room. Standard Wetherspoon's fare (I had their Tuesday steak and a drink offer which although not brilliant food is good value). Acorn Brewery beers plus a couple of others but not the best selection I have seen. With a third JDW pub also very close-by you have wonder how they all make money but they seem to.

OK Wetherspoons with large areas of glazing opposite shopping centre, busier than the nearby Old Angel. Some of our party oddly had breakfasts delivered with no bacon, which was however brought later following complaint. We did not stay long as the range of ales consisted of 4 above 5% ABV, one stout and one porter: as we were on a bit of a session we sought more standard bitters elsewhere.
