| Yesterday's fun started in Bognor Regis, a seaside resort I've not been to before. The Hatters Inn was a good place to start for a breakfast and a pint. Ales were Sharp's Doom Bar, Greene King Abbot, Ruddles Best, Dorking Ryesing Sun & Lunar White, Welton's Congress, Flack Manor Romsey Gold, Irving Spinnaker & Jennings Sneck Lifter. The cider was Thistly Cross Whisky Cask. Service was a bit haphazard. I'm sure I was charged incorrectly and my breakfast came without 2 items, whilst another breakfast was not what we'd ordered. Nevertheless, there doesn't appear to be too much real ale in this town. So, the Wetherspoon's is an oasis for locals and visitors alike. blue_scrumpy - 21 Jul 2019 08:46 |

| Extremely large ‘Spoons in the centre of Bognor. My first visit a couple of Saturday’s ago around 5.30pm and there were 10 hand pumps on the bars. A decent selection of ales with my choice being the South African offering of Nils Oscar @ 5.3%...a very decent pint. Busy with mainly blokes but quiet in the pub, not rowdy at all.
