Popped in last night before a gig at Koko. Immediately recognised the Guvnor as he used to run The Oxford Arms up on Camden High Street. Nice friendly welcome, a bit of craic at the bar and a really good pint of Pride.

Good mix of people watching a european team on the box, locals proping up the bar and people drinking at the tables. I was surprised how full it was for a Tuesday night and there wasa real buzz.

Pleasant atmosphere and a beer garden with ample seating. Will return.

This pub is open, though I haven't been in.

I lived opposite here for 14 years through many different incantations, was called the Mornington Arms which was a total craphole; this is the only time it's been anything near a decent pub except for once in the late 90s - before the landlod was sent down....
Now, it's clean, pleasant, has a limited but good menu, little garden out the back, good little local. As the previous reviewer said, the bloke from the Oxford has taken over, got rid of the dealers and seedy types, and has a good pub here now.
Perhaps the rating system should have re-started when it was re-named?

pat from the oxford arms has now taken over this pub..
if you want a pub that isnt flashy but plays most football.. and the food is great.. then this is the place in camden for you....

if you want to be seen...then ummmm no...

it kicks ass over the oxford arms...
sadly since pat left... so did that pub.... shame that...
