user reviews of All Bar One, Windsor

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Very slow and un-engaged staff (is a smile and eye contact too much to ask for?) and bonkers policy in the daytime at the weekends of not serving you at the bar and asking you at the bar to go back out to your table outside and wait to be served by the staff outside (after waiting 15mins with no acknowledgment I had given up). Once you finally get your drink it is quite a nice place to be but they really seem not to care at all about customer service. Food is not bad for a town centre pub and comes almost as fast as the drinks.

Dirty sticky tables and slow staff not worth the visit!

Grubby little joint, the slowest service on earth and indifferent staff - why bother?

Not much atmosphere but does the job. Been to plenty of work leaving do's here - it's ideally placed next to Windsor central station. Have to walk practically to town boundary to have a fag as the whole area is 'enclosed'
Nothing exciting for real ale fans but at least the lager is drinkable.

NB: If you want to get served quickly go to far end of bar towards toilets...

Nice on say a Wednesday evening when it's a little quieter a few people after work and the odd couple. Much better than a rammed Friday night where if you are not dressed to high standards you get funny looks from the pretty boys who are slaves to fashion and churned out of a machine, much the same in all of Windsor then. I do like though just to have a quiet drink with a friend or not to bad to take a date to be honest. Choice isn't too bad but not too cheap. I like that they have Fruli there though!!

you'd have more luck high jumping to the moon than getting a drink in here when its busy... the S L O W E S T place i've ever seen. I think people have turned to vapor waiting to be served in here...

This place is now appalling, it really is, staff are rubbish, food covered in oil and well is there a manager running this place or a monkey, my recommendation is don't even waste your money going there.

What a dive this place has turned into. Such a shame, you are lucky to recognise any staff now, there are different faces every time you go in. 50 minutes for us to get served last night, what on earth has happend? Food has gone down hill, you are better off going to Lloyds up the road...... Never though I would say it but their food is better. Ha Ha you have really shamed yourself this time...

Great place outside and inside although can be a nightmare to get served on a Saturday night. Food is consistently good which is more than I can say for many a pub in Windsor.

Visited this place last night for dinner and drinks with friends. Had a great time, food was gorgeous and the bar staff were friendly. They've got live music on a tuesday and wednesday night and I think this is one of the best bars in town. Will tell all my friends about this place and will see you on the weekend

Bit pretentious and pricey. Far too crowded on weekends. I hear the food isn't too bad though.

Quite frankly as much as i love the food from the HA HA chain of restuarants..... this place has the slowest service i've ever witnessed in my life! you'd get better service in macdonalds and possibly more smiles too! on one occasion the staff actually asked ME how to make the drink i wanted!!!! come on guys poor show!!!

Too expensive for chavs so you won't see any in there which is a plus. Food pricey but nice, good place if you like lager, personally, I prefer the real stuff. Friendly staff but then they're only after your money.

I'm to old and not cool enough for this place. And the atmosphere lets you know it.

Ha! Ha! is fantastic, they work the staff down to the ground but they keep on smiling... The chefs are great, the food delicious (expensive but worth it)! Weekends are a laugh too, ignore the pretentious people, they don't harm anyone!!

Nice atmosphere outside to watch the world go by, but took forever to get served, then when we told them we just wanted a drink and no food the waitress scowled at us. However, we enjoyed a rare and delicious South African Chardonnay but it cost me 11 for two of these. Fun place to people watch.

Typical brash style over substance bar. It's ok now and again in passing, but to hang out here often is to join the ranks of alco-pop & euro fizz sipping wannabes.

It takes too long to get served, the beer selection is weak, and there's rather too much hair flicking going on for my liking.

On the plus side I haven't seen any chavs in there.

pretentiuos to the max. but then again i am a northern lad who lived down there for a while. One of those pubs where you have to ask what beer s they have on because all the pulls are unmarked. not cheap, but the atmosphere is ok. as with all ha ha's, it just tries too hard to be trendy, as can be seen with the inclusion of the word "canteen" in it's name. oh the irony.

On of the best 'young people' spots in Windsor along with 'The Bar'. Its different because you can sit under cover in the old station, but expect it to be busy, especailly at the weekends. You may have to wait over 5 minutes for a drink!

Expensive but pleasant pub next to Windor's central Station. Good seating everywhere, outside and in, but very busy on Fridays and weekends. Situated in Windsor so you know it's going to be full of attractive, well-to-do people! The barmaids take some beating, too!
No real ales, average selection, but offers wines, some large foreign beer bottles.
