When my band was booked to play here, I must admit that I was slightly concerned by some of the comments below (although all the negative ones are well out of date!) However, we were pleasantly surprised. The bar area is large and unobstructed, making it ideal for live music - there's plenty of room for the band to set up with a spacious dance floor in front for those who want to get up close and enjoy the music. For the less energetic, there's comfortable seating to the side and rear. Everyone gets a warm welcome from Kevin & Mandy and we are now looking forward to our next gig there.

Just visited the Surveyor Pub to check out the live music and I was very surprised to see how well its been organised again by Amanda and Kevin. The atmosphere and band were brilliant. The pub is fantastic and spacey. Such an improvement. I will definately be visiting again. I also hear they are fund raising for the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital on Carnival Day....... Good on you and the best of luck.
Excellent idea to have live music at the Surveyor.

Just recently visited the Surveyor pub because i had heard there was live music now playing......i was so surprised at the change of the place. The music was awesome and the crowd were really friendly, despite previous reputation of trouble. I will definately be returning. Rock N Roll club on Thursday, Rock on Fri & Sat and jamming on a Monday.......what a clever idea. See you this weekend guys.

i recently moved into the area and found a pub which did live music. reading the posts recently on this website was a little reluctant to go in there but when i drove past it looked like a really good atmosphere was going on in there so i decided to pop in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised by the welcolming i recieved. the landlady was extremely polite to me and made me feel really welcome and so i stayed until closing and will be returning next week for sure.

This is still the worst pub in Molesey

I went there (mainly for a giggle) to start a pub crawl over christmas and wasn't surprised by the reception i got. Lots of families from the jeremy kyle show were in there; and crappy decor. Soon left after my average pint!

I used to hate this pub and would groan whenever someone suggested we go there and although I realise the new manager is doing all he can to improve the reputation I still can't stand going in there, mainly because of the grumpy woman who works behind the bar. Really if you're going to be a barmaid you do actually have to enjoy talking to people, cheer up love!

Went in there a week ago because i was freezing to death.Looks intimidating and i wouldnt put it on a list of places to visit before you die.But after saying that it wasnt as moody as i expected.

This pub is a disgrace to the Fullers estate. "Large Car Park" - seems to be sublet to local tradesmen as a parking space. "Outdoor Seating" - wooden tables that are falling to pieces. Trees in the garden - one dead and one half-dead. Overgrown hedges with borders full of weeds and crisp bags. Inside full of low-life. Could be a good pub with a little care, attention and an injection of cash by Fullers. Don't ever think of going there...The Bell (East Molesey) is only one mile away.

THIS PUB IS NORMALLY OK.WENT THERE LAST WEEK WATCHED THE QUIZ,BUNCH OF AMIABLE OLD FARTS PLAYING IN IT,THEN SOME BRAIN DEAD MORON SHOUTED THE TWO FOULEST WORDS IN THE ANGLO SAXON VOCABULARY,4 TIMES AT THE TOP OF HIS VOICE
DO NOT KNOW IF HE WAS SHOWN A RED CARD,DID NOT WAIT TO FIND OUT,LEFT .

Not a great pub but it's ok. Tends to fill up with chavs and chavettes with their parents. It's a shame theres not really another pub nearby.

Too big for its own good. This is where the chavs and yobs gather......before they wreck the industrial estate after dark.Normal people will find that it has all the atmosphere of outer space and the drunks who use it will make you feel about as welcome as fart in a spacesuit.Oh, and sit where you can keep an eye on your car!

Best pub in Molsey.
Mr & Mrs Surveyor are the life and soul of this pub.
Not sure I would go in the Gay Bar with out my wife but they all seem very friendly.

Great group of people, shame there are never any pies left for those who arrive late.

Would not miss the regular quiz night with Mr Quiz himself "Terry Cover Your Eyes I have Another New Shirt"

A Lovely Pub But Bring back The Live Friday/Saturday Night Bands, and give it a Total Refurbishment.

Intimidating is definitely a word that springs to mind. The dated furnishings, rustic appearance and robust clientele are not deceiving in any way.
This is not a pub for the faint hearted, the landlord will probably hunt me down and kill me for these coments.

I like this pub, granted the atmos is a little lacking and it can appear a touch intimidating, but that aside, it has all the qualities that are required of a good pub. Problem is, there aren't any others within a 15 minute walk, so you'll have to spend the night there so take some mates.

A 60's style pub just by an industrial estate. Usually, very quiet. Function room and pool room. Beer is well priced.
Place has no atmosphere and it's like sitting in someones front lounge (albeit quite large!).
A locals pub, and used by workers from the estate.
Not intimidating but not the most friendly place on earth.
For families try the Bell in East Molesey.
