Profile information

I like a decent pint of real ale that's been kept properly by the landlord and is pulled with expertise by their staff. It always annoys me when the landlord let's down the brewer by delivering a pint that lets the side down.

The Bermuda Triangle, Parkstone

One of the best pubs in the area for a decent pint of real ale. Unfortunatly, the draught Erdinger is so good that I rarely drink the beer. Try it for yourself but be warned, more than four or five pints and you'll be carried home.

The Hole In The Wall, Waterloo

Been drinking here for over twenty years as there are always good ales in good condition and you can play pinball as well. Yes, it's a grubby sh*thole, but I go for the beer and as the missus hates it, there must be something going for it. Very easy to stay until the last train!

Champagne Charlie's, Charing Cross

The Old Whallop is excellent. The wines are good as are the snacks. The restaurant does good food. Book an "office" in advance if you want to have a quiet meeting with up to half a dozen guests. There's no extra charge and the guests will be impressed. Best avoided early in the evenings as it can be full of suited w**nkers.
