The fries and ale here was nice as was the blonde marmaid. Long trek down to the toilets. Like an ALL BAR One interior, more bar than pub.

Oh dear. 0/10
MICE!
It's not good to take a fine lady to a nice part of town and find mice scurrying around. We did tell the staff and ONLY IF the mice are all gone, I'd boost the rating up to 7/10.
Only go here if you're a cat.

Went there last Friday - standard Pitcher and Piano - fairly lively and beer was adequate. Surprised I didn't see Shellakasimmo, as it would appear she managed to visit 6 P&Ps in one weekend and comment on them all positively within 10 minutes of each other. Impressive.

If you google "shellakasimmo", all you find is unbelievable glowing reviews of pitcher and piano 'pubs'. It makes me think that she works for thier marketing dept and this was her job for a day.

Really cool bar with great service and drinks. One of the better places in Bank

No decent ale, or even interesting lagers. Anyone with taste should avoid this place and go to the multitude of proper pubs around the City.

More plums in here than an orchard - the only redeeming thing is it's not quite as bad as the cattle market P&P near Liverpool St. Why do people go to these places?

Really useful place for a quick pee before getting on the tube.

Lovely barmaid downstairs. But spoilt by far too many Eton and Harrow monkeys. Nice, clean bogs.

Never stayed upstairs - always go down, much more intimate. Good service, nice selection of cocktails, decent bar snacks and reasonable music. If you're looking for something between the Counting House and Abacus, this fits the bill - both geographically and atmospherically.

Only negative? Long walk to the toilet.

Lovely pub, gorgeous bar staff...selection is competent, but nothing special. Deals on beer seem to be Budweiser..and more Bud...so don't go if this is your poison...

Ladies shouldn't leave without asking Jatic for a pitcher of his best 'screaming orgasm' :P

As P&P's go this isn't too bad. However that's like saying 'as cases of ebola go this isn't too bad'. The only 'beer' (and I use the term in it's widest possible sense) is Marston's Pedigree, which says it all really. Do yourself a favour and walk two minutes up the road to the Counting House or Simpsons (unless of course P&P's are up your alley in which case you're welcome to it).

The first time I came here was on a first date. I never saw her again but I continued to visit this amazing converted bank. Classic!

Yawn - same suit crowd every night of the week... but if thats what you're after - not bad.

One of the best Pitcher & Piano's IMO. Upstairs is vast, noisy and mostly standing, downstairs is more intimate and quieter especially at lunchtimes. Good service and good beer.
