A traditional, stone built pub in the centre of the old village. There are a few benches on a patio area at the front and on a recent visit there was also a “To Let” sign up. Hopefully this is not a sign of imminent closure.

Inside it’s quite traditional and perhaps a little dated. A public bar is off to the right with a pool table, darts board and a plasma stuck up on the wall, although this was not in use. The flooring is predominantly carpet with some tiling around the bar counter. The lounge off to the left is split in to two, one part down a couple of steps. Decor wise it’s fairly similar, with red, leather button back bench seating around the perimeter and tables and chairs elsewhere. There were a few old bits and pieces around such as a candlestick telephone, and old wooden radio and a chest of drawers. Another plasma was stuck up on the wall here although this was not in use either. Instead background music was provided courtesy of the digital juke box. There were a couple more fire-places, one of which had a few coals burning away. A table video game was an unusual feature. There were a few old boys who were presumably locals sat around chatting, and they struck me as friendly enough, as was the landlord.

Beers on tap were Adnams Southwold, Marstons EPA and Doom Bar. Ciders were Stowford Press and Strongbow.

Nice place as always. Beer a bit cold for my liking, but other than that I can't complain.

A great pub. On a recent trip to Milton Keynes, the Victoria Inn was our last hope in the search for a proper pub in an area where proper pubs are in short supply, and it did not disappoint!

The landlord and lady were very chatty and welcoming. They even went out of the way and made us some food outside of their serving hours.

They stock a nice range of 4 well sourced real local ales, it's always nice to try the local stuff when your away from home, and the Victoria Inn is well worth the 10 minute taxi from the centre of Milton Keynes to try some!

This was my pub of the day on my 10 pub Bucks crawl. It's a locals pub, with a friendly clientele and friendly staff. Ales included Concrete Cow Bulldozer, Hopping Mad Hopnotch & Vale Red Kite. I believe there were 2 other beers - 1 was possibly Wychwood Hobgoblin. Cider was Westons Vintage Organic. Music was on a little too loud when we entered. But it was later turned down to a more acceptable level. Live football on the TV was also showing. A couple of England flags and a Wales flag on the ceiling indicated that the pub is popular with sports fans. There is a fish tank in one corner and a large outdoor smoking area to the rear.

A regular outlet for the local Concrete Cow brewery (in the industrial estate just the other side of the railway) whose beers are actually very good, the Victoria is a friendly and well run place. It's a proper pub so don't expect too many airs and graces. One of the best pubs in MK currently.

Excellent real ale pub, usually four beers to choose from which could be from virtually any brewery in the country. Was MK Camra's Pub of the Year in 2009. Customers are a mixture of real ale types and locals from the village. Can get packed during the evenings due to small size of the bars. Mind your head if you're going through the door to the loos !!

If you're going there on a cold day, be sure to wrap up warm and DON'T expect to be able to take your coat off when you get in there - it's doesn't have central heating and the gas fire struggles to cope if the weather's really cold.

Reasonable enough place (over the road from the Albert) and about 20 minutes walk from MK Central station. Had four ales on - tried the Tring offering (Fiddler Jack) which was okay. Quite a small pub with pool table to the right as you go in and some free pretzels on offer for customers.

a bit cosy and tired furniture inside, but a good welcome and friendly locals. Small bar area close to the door can get cramped on a busy night, Good range of beers and usually have at least one from the local concrete cow brewery.
Prices cheaper and staff attitude is way better than the declining Albert opposite.

Claims are made in the local newspaper that this place serves beer from the local brewery. If you ask for this beer, the bar staff just answer with blank stares.
It's a scary place - you're far better advised to go to the pub over the road.

Nice small pub with jukebox, pool table and dartboard. I didn't have any food but did have a London Pride which at 2.40 isn't too bad value. The toilets were clean but it does get very smokey on busy nights.

Visited here last Tuesday evening, no food on offer, so we went across the road to the Albert where we had a good, cheap meal.
Beer range looked excellent, but we didn't try any.
Who has entered the details that say they do food?

EXCELLENT small pub, family run free house. Great ever-changing range of real ales. Very friendly atmosphere. Customers are actually valued by mine hosts.

Excellent local, ever rotating choice of real ales and fantastically cheap food. Sausage and mash day first friday of the month - food and a pint at a bargain price.
