Just revisited after a year's absence. Still on form. Great finishing point if you're been walking along the canal. Dogs welcome in the pool room, though sitting out in the canal basin is always a pleasure.

Visited in March and it is a bit of a walk out of Dewsbury. Nice setting at the Marina, and interesting loft bar. Had a Leeds Best, but it was not in good condition at all. As we had taken the beer downstairs to drink we did not climb back up to change it. Maybe we should of to give the pub a fairer review, but not the easiest bar to get to.

Excellent boozer with well kept ales. Plenty of comfy chairs to relax in and an open fire to keep out the chill of winter.
Everards Tiger has always been on each time I have frequented and is a nice pint.
A bit of a walk out of the centre of Dewsbury but sure worth the walk and a boozer you can stay in for a fair few hours..
They have/had old viz annuals as well which is a bonus !!!

Wot a Pub!!! just the place to sit and enjoy some quality real beer (real ales) with no bother from anyone, just friendly folk. the leggers in is a must visit if you enjoy a perfect pint. great atmosphere

Good quality beers at the dewsbury marina. Always a good pale ale from Roosters. Nice old building, upstairs loft bar. Lost some character recently, the eclectic furniture and cushions have been replaced with formulaic ikea style dining chairs. The original cobbles outside have been covered with decking.

out of the way pub well worth seeking out, a great variety of beers on tap, in good nick, and very competative pricewise, folfs in there are nice and friendly too.

lively & friendly atmosphere, good beer - worth the walk from the West Riding if you fancy a quality, long distance pub crawl

My mate Mick R. took me here when I was over in England for a wedding. Impressive range of beers here, Belgian and otherwise. Only trouble is its stuck out in the middle of nowhere, and if someone ends up suggesting that you walk out there with you not knowing the place, you may end up thinking he's planning to kidnap you or something. But rest assured, there is a pub at the end of the universe.

SET IN THE CANAL BASIN WHERE YOU CAN SEE ALL THE COLOURFULL BARGE'S PARKED, THE WELCOME YOU WILL RECIEVE WILL BE WARM AND THE SELECTION OF BEERS IS FANTASTIC. YOU CAN RELAX ON THE COMFY SOFAS OR STAND AT THE BAR AND THE LANDLORD WILL EDUCATE YOU ABOUT HIS FINE BEERS. ONCE YOU GO YOU WONT HAVE A BAD WORD TO SAY ABOUT IT.

Not! where you'd expect to find a pub. Off the beaten track in a little canal basin with barge's "parked" in front. Great atmosphere, full of character & it's just brill! already got good reputation - great selection of beer's. You must see for yourself!
This is a must visit! - Unique!
