i live in birstall west yorks, love great pubs and great beer, no problem with either of those in yorkshire, i am also a member of the s.p.b.w., moving on i am passionate about blues music, from delta blues to chicago blues, and all points between. and lastly i am a supporter of huddersfield town football club, of which i am a season ticket holder.

been going in here since the very first night it opened an absolutely cracking pub. decent enough prices, and great friendly folk, and barstaff, if you have'nt been here you don't know what you are missing.

the salamander, in here is always very well kept the prices are pretty reasonable and the bar staff are very attentive, definately worth a call if you are in bradford.

we call this pub the madhouse due to the assortment of characters this pub seems to attract, but it is friendly enough the beer is usually good, and the banter top notch. love the snug at the side of the bar if you can get a seat in there.
