I don't like it. The beer is rubbish and the prices are hiddeous. It's a pain to get around the place, steps and things everywhere, not easy for disabled folks I imagine, and it tries to be overly pretnetious and fancy when it really really is no sophisticated London wine bar. There is a nasty smell of rotten cabbage .... or maybe it is lettuce LOL! We didnt; eat becuase we saw some less than appetising food come out and the prices were ridiculous.

I used to drink in the hogs until last year whilst at Uni and always found it to be a great watering hole.Clean pub, friendly staff who enjoyed working there and always something happening. However i was really disappointed last week when i visited. The place has really gone down hill.the beer was warm, the staff were rude and it took ages to get served. My friends meal looked like something that could almost pass as food, and it would seem that all the local chavs have taken up residence. dont waste your time here as you will be sorry.

OVERPRICED BUT YOU DO GET QUICK SERVICE MOST OF THE TIME AND THEY HAVE GIANT JENGA SO IT'S NOT ALL BAD!!!

Great place...easily the best in Uxbridge. I recently spent a few weeks staying in Uxbridge visiting a friend. While we went out to central a couple of times, we went to the hog's head most of the nights we went out in Uxbridge. It's more welcoming than the Old Bill, less Chav than wetherspoons, less dingy than the Metropolitan and cheaper than Bar Roosh which was full of chavs trying to be posh.
They have a quiz on Tuesday nights which makes it a bit different and it's laid back and unpretentious with staff who look like they want to be there.
On fri and sats they seem to have the misfortune of being the closest pub to the Royales place with the sticky floor and therefore attract the chavs at the end of their pub crawls....
The only issue I had is that they never have the full menu on...I wanted to try the yorkshire and sausage!

Chav and kid city. DOnt bother. Go to Auberge for a slightly more civilised pint, or anywhere else for that matter...

Poor service(first time had 2 wait 10 minutes before waitress even acknowledged we were waiting, second time ended up ordering at the bar as we got tired of waiting), bad food (first time didn't have half the selection on the menu at lunch time, second time food tasted like chef must of mixed up tea spoon of salt with tablespoon of salt) poor waiting (had to fetch my own cutlery tissues sauces etc, not one courtesy call on both occasions). Didn't seem to get one smile off "friendly" staff, most happiest thought of experience was leaving. Not willing to go 3rd time lucky, especially when nando's gets it right everytime.

Nice, open, spacious pub. The staff are friendly, and the food is pretty good. Prices are about average I'd say.

How can anyone use the words Hogshead and cheap in the same sentence baffles me. This has to be the 2nd most expensive place in Uxbridge, 2nd only to Baroosh.

Its rubbish. They kicked us out in the middle of a sunday for a 'private function', while the football was on! Balls to 'em.

its nice and clean its cheaper dan da old bill and its lively.

nice and clean; if you find your outgrowing the cap and trainer wearing youth of the 'good yarn' on a firday night, then heres your best bet. And they play music - which is a bonus.

It's OK if you like that sort of thing.
