Piano lounge is no more, they couldn't get their music licence renewed. Apparently opening up as an african bar and restaurant.

Unfortunately this is now a Piano Bar without a licence to play the Piano. Yes, please don't go and expect any enterainment as they can no longer have singers or pianists there, thus losing a large part of it's charm and appeal. Food was ok - but they forgot items ordered, and then brought them half cooked or luke warm. Overall, not a great experience.... Sorry.
Such a shame, as this time last year, the place was amazing.

Not a pub, but very chilled bar with wine bar beer prices, the food is good, not overpriced. The only downside is I've never seen it with more than 10 people in it....worth a visit. nice selection of wines as well.

Fantastic place to mellow out in & listen to the piano & singer duo. The food is good & well presented if not a bit on the pricey side. Big comfy couches to sink yourselves into.

Must agree, it is a diamond in the rough, relaxing and inviting, staff are friendly, food is fab and well presented and the live music goes down a treat...its definatley a Aut/Winter venue with all the candles, sofa's and wood! We love it...keep it up!

Lovely place, nice selection of chardonnay's and patagonian Merlot's, fantastic, I often take my good lady there for a relaxing evening to listen to the Jazz, a lot nicer than the rougher pubs in the area, the Grove Tavern for example, awful, full of football oiks, being a Man Utd fan myself, cant understand it all! You cant get your prawn sarnies in there!

Too many over priced bottled beer and no real ale

Surely more of a candidate for foodintheevening.com?

What an amazing menu the Piano Lounge has. The food itself was breathtaking. I highly recommend the lamb. Good cocktail list as well. Wow :)

We discovered this place at the beginning of the year and have been frequenting it ever since. The owner and staff are always very friendly and the food is of a very high standard. They've just changed the menu for the summer and it's very high quality. On busy nights you can sometimes wait a while for your food, but you can enjoy the music and atmosphere and it's well worth the wait!!! It's just had it's one year anniversary and the place was packed. We hope it continues to succeed, as it's now our local!

I went out of my way to visit this place, having driven past it a few times, and it was definitely worth it. Very relaxing and comfortable, I'm looking forward to eating there soon!

After being recommended by a friend we made our visit and were totally amazed by the delicious food on offer. The live music was fab and we stayed most of the evening. Well Done.

It might seem out of place in South Wimbledon, but this bar/restaurant (NOT pub) is a jewel! Excellent and friendly service, and the food is fantastic and stands up against the "posher" 1 and 2 Michelin star restaurants in London. Drink here and you will be in a comfortable relaxed environment, eat here and you will not be disappointed. Just a pity it doesn't serve real ale. :-)

I am very impressed with the Piano Lounge and it is so nice to finally have a decent bar/restaurant within walking distance of where I live. The music creates a fantastic atmosphere and the food and service are both excellent.

This is a fab place. I went in for the first time and the food was fab and the staff were very pleasant. I think it is a nice feeling that you can stay in your neighbourhood and go out to nice places to have an evening out.

Keep up the good work.

Very smart looking bar with nice comfy couches to sit on. The restaurant area is at the back. Have eaten there twice now and the food is absolutely divine. It is just a bit too pricey for South Wimbledon but definately worth it.
