Very poor town centre pub that clearly has a high turnover. Three real ales, all from Caledonian, were on - Deuchars, Edinburgh Castle & Over The Bar. After a long wait to be served, as most people appeared to be washing glasses, I finally received a half of the Edinburgh Castle. Unfortunately it was on the turn. I didn't bother sending it back as I didn't fancy any of the others anyway. Seems to be popular for food.

a big disappointment when I visited back in June. This is a lovely big town centre pub with ample potential, but was totally empty. Unfortunately on my visit there was no real ales,no bulmers draught either so opted for a pint of bow(3.15). Barwoman was very unfriendly. 3/10 hopefully it was just a bad day? :-s

Returned back to the fold of the White Hart recently after some 10 plus years, to find that it was every bit as good as I remember. It has recently changed hands and has a new set of staff and owner. I found that there were a few things that they were probably still finding. However, they did provide a brilliant friendly night. I will return.

Went in this Saturday - it is a 'pub' again now - three handpumps with a Bombardier pump clip 'balancing' against one. Asked the barman for a pint of this and he looked at me quizically! Reiterated my request and he said he'd see what is in the barrel - it came out looking shocking - I bade farewell and left, never to return.

Revisited and a new beginning? 3 real ales on including a very good bombadier plus a flying dutchman and one other i can't remember. Big TVs for sport and maybe the good old days are on the way back again. Nice to see!

A famous old hostelry now languishing as a Thai (pub) restaurant, though I have not yet tasted the food. Good welcome by inexperienced bar staff with the standard selection of keg beers on offer. Not sure where this place is going?

Think it's a Thai restaurant now - was good when it was a pub and sold Coach and Horses Dick Turpin all the time. Nice crowd in there too - wonder where they all gone - Porters?
