this is a great great pub/restaurant and has been for years.
The Firefly was always a nice family run pub for years , but if you want food , drink and location it has to be the Spade.

The Firefly have decided that because they cant get any ratings, they will rate all the other pubs with a low rating, they are under investigation by BITE

i've actually been here, very average, i've just counted that ignoring the top 5 (all new all bourne end), 0f the next 35 i've been to 23 and this comes nowhere near any of those

Jim I smell a Roland too mate,but you just have to look at the FireFly to see that Bourne End have one or two very sad people with nothing better to do !

Royston Vasey? No, Bourne End is obviously a true drinker's mecca. Seven pubs [two of which are named the Spade Oak] and all bar one of them rated highly, including an eye-watering 9.8! I detect a rodent...
