Formely an Eldridge Pope Pub this place has recently been acquired by Marstons, Only Pedigree(strangely enough!!) on tap but it was a really good pint of the stuff and it was only a fiver(which aint bad 4 the area),friendly service too, 7/10

Been there twice now and each visit was poor. Both times all the real ale was off. Today I thought I was in luck but the Ringwood ran dry while the barmaid was pouring it. So I think it's safe to say this pub does not appreciate real ale and whoever does the ordering needs to realise that pub with no ale isn't really a pub. Looked at the menu which includes tapas and concluded that a cafe would be far cheaper, which is where I went next after I'd finished my lemonade !

Large pub, quite on Tuesday night when we visited and called time at 11pm

Has a skittle alley on the side, didn't ask if it was still in use.

Agree with chris i've played darts here a few times and found the locals tollerant of visitors. It seems like one of those pubs that if there was trouble it would be very nasty.

It's my local, but I never go there. Very smoky, full of rough people who stare at you when you go in (well OK I do go in occasionally). Never seen a fight there, which is a point in its favour. Prefer The Central.

Bit of information for the last idiot that commented on the Sea View - the area is called Sea view, as, from a lookout over the road, you can see,....erm, the sea ! How strange for a pub to take the name of the place huh !! This is a bit of a locals pub, but if you are happy to chat so are they. Always a good game of pool to be had.

Just exactly where is the sea view? By standing on the roof presumably. Believe me, there is more chance of Spurs winning the Premier League than there is of finding a sea view from this pub. The pub itself is sorely in need of a refurb. Beer nothing special. Locals not as hostile as in some of the nearby pubs but that isn't saying much.
