user reviews of Manor Farm Barn, Southfleet

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Limited range of Sheperd Neame ales, but all well served by friendly staff. The building, being a former barn, natch, is large and open plan but doesn't feel vast and overwhelming. It's well lit and warm, although there is limited seating if you're not eating: I suggest it promotes and serves more as a restaurant than a pub. It's a bit anonymous - not unlike an upmarket Harvester-type chain - but agreeable, quiet and relaxing.
I stop here on the return from Bluewater sometimes, to take a load off and unwind. It's regularly patronised by workers on their way home, and early-evening diners (mainly families). Very much a destination to stop off at, rather than head out to, but worth doing so.

A beautiful barn conversion tucked away in Southfleet. Staff are always come with warm servoce, serving hot food and cold beers.

Went here after being at the neighbouring farm for their halloween display, and it ended the evening perfectly.
The food was great, the service superb and the pub itself was a hidden gem.
Will definatley go there again

As a previous reviewer says, being Shepherd Neame, the ale selection is somewhat limited. (TyronW - if you want to see Master Brew in another pub, try pretty much every pub in Kent).
But it's in a good location, very scenic, the food's good - it's the sort of place you could take the family for a meal.

If only it didn't have sport on the telly....

First of all, this pub is a franchise of the Shephard Neame pub, therefore the beers are going to be limited. Set in the nice village of Broadditch (which locals call Bradditch, based on the tale of a thief pronouncing it BROAD DITCH not BRADITCH), its a converted barn that has two floors of usual table and chairs, and more relaxing areas consisting of comfy sofas and coffee tables next to the fire.

The beers are obviously limited, however this does not limit the pub. A firm choice of Spitfire or Master Brew, of which I am yet to see Master Brew in another pub. A very clean pint, and so was the next. Other drinks included the usual lager and same cider, and the same for the soft drinks.

A very quiet location, you have a duck pond on the opposite side of the road, and a picture-esque farm shop that reminds you of the Darling Buds of May. Not much in terms of a garden, but you can have a wander around the place. A small garden at the front, and some benches at the back near the car park. Parking is round the back, and there is plenty of room.

A nice Kentish pub that you can enjoy a few pints of Kentish ale that Pa Larkin would be proud of. Perfik!
