Wow, if I read the reviews before going here I would never have gone! In fairness, I think they have new management now, a top bloke called Shaun who is the reason I've made it my regular watering hole.

Eaten here a few times (it's near my work) and the food is pretty good pub fair. The time to go is on Friday from 8pm when they have a young traditional Irish music band play every week. It isn't advertised in the pub so when they start playing everyone looks pretty shocked! But then there's a total party atmosphere. Clapping and dancing and everything. It's amazing! This is why I love London...so random.

Highly recommended.

On my visit a couple of Saturdays ago Pride, IPA and Explorer were available with another couple of pumps being off. My Stella wasnt the greatest as I think the lines could do with a good clean. The landlord was friendly enough without being overly interested in our custom.

The inside of the pub is a room with seating around the sides and a plasma screen showing Sky Sports at either end. It isnt the cosiest of places and has a social club feel to it. There is some limited outside seating.

Id maybe pop in if passing after a long shopping trip, but wouldnt make the effort to cross the road to drink here.

I liked this pub. Went there for a quick pint stayed for 4. Friendly staff nice atmosphere made all teh more remarkable that it should be a hellish hole, bearing in mind its just of a main shopping throughfayre. I reccomend it if you need to rest your weary legs from too shopping.

Visited 24 Jan 06. After traipsing around Debenhams with the Missus, this looked to be a promising reprieve from the horrors of shopping. Although the barmaid was polite and efficient, my pint was a good 15% short, a top up was asked for and given.

As far as food was concerned, all we wanted was a sandwich, but a scene reminiscent of Monty Python's Cheese Shop sketch ensued. I have no idea how a pub selling food can have very little in stock at lunch time. Having said that when our 3/4 choices arrived, it was nice.

The beer was average and the food disgusting. I'm never going to eat at a T&JB's pub again ever.

Full of horsey rah rahs who like nothing better than to talk about how daddy bought them a pony when they were 7 years old. Took ages to get served and didn't like the atmosphere. Good beer though.

Excellent little pub (unlike the shit-hole jammed pack of trendy tossers next door).

6 real ales and good food. I'll be back (to coin a phrase!!).

Deffo one of the better pubs in the West End and should be in the CAMRA guide (if not already)

8/10.
