A relativity friendly pub (albeit with the occasional local builder clich), small but perfectly formed, a small selection of real ale and kronenbourg, stella, coors light and fosters on tap. A well kept, spacious beer garden, which is child friendly (a massive plus if you've got kids). One suggestion, to remove the old wooden climbing frame (which has seen much better days), and replacing with a couple of swings. On the whole a good pub.

Nice friendly little pub, I work literally next door but strangely enough I don't visit as often as I perhaps should. On the few occasions I've been in here, there's been a great atmosphere with locals and staff alike seeming friendly and cheerful. Always a decent row of beers on offer, Courage Best always, Directors too i think plus one or two guests, Hobgoblin the last time I was there which was lurvely! My only beer-related quibble is it can sometimes seem a tad on the warm side... not a big deal but I do like it to lean more towards cool!

Overall, a nice local pub - I hear the food's decent too.

I first used this back in the 70's when it was a Truman's pub. I always get good friendly service here.
Tried the Bateman's Miss Canada but wasn't keen. The Courage Best was good though at 2.55 a pint. They also had Wadwoth's 6X.

Smashing little drinker. Nice locals, good beers, only downside is they sometimes have a disco in there - anyone who has been in there will know it really isn't big enough or well laid out for that kind of thing! Otherwise - one to enjoy!

Smashing little locals pub with friendly atmosphere and nice back garden with good sheltered partioning for smokers. Not the best beer in the world (Green King) but certainly makes up for it in other ways.

small busy pub, good food, good beer, reasonably priced, thursday nights alternate between quiz and karaoke nights, live bands at the weekend.
