Best pub in Alnmouth! great beer (Cullercoats or Wallsend brewery - can't remember). Helpful staff, pleasant drinking/dining areas, amazing food!!! gluten free knowledge second to none and massively dog friendly...

At least here we could sit in for a while as the tables weren't reserved till later.

Stayed here recently. Nice room, good beer and excellent homemade food

Lunch here on May 15th. "Irish Mussles in White Wine Source": okay but source too thin and a bit gritty. Nice beer though. Not much atmosphere: all opened up with tacky fake ceiling beams etc. Unrealised potential.

Went for a family lunch here last week - had the mixed grill, which was excellent, as were all the meals. Choice of 3 real ales - all local ales, and good ones too. Best pub in Alnmouth - although the others seem pretty good as well.

Pleasant enough boozer. The beer is well kept, but not a great deal of variety(do Theakstons own this village-Black Sheep everywhere)?
The pub had the feel of someone's front room-not in itself a bad thing.
Restaurant attached which looked nice.
