Rightly closed down, this place was a fleapit only to be drank in if eight generations of your family drank there and also appeared in 'The Hills Have Eyes'.

Pub ceased trading. police closed it down due to trouble with the local travellers causing chaos with their horses up and down the high street.
They even took one inside the pub!

Used to be a good pub , the guvnor was very friendly and the live music was very good...... The boys in particular. The regulars did take a bit of getting used to.

I have never been to this place (and probably never will) but I read something in this mornings Metro which I had to post a comment on. I heard that recently a group of local travellers literally rode into the pub on horseback. Punters described it like something from the Wild West. That must have been a site to behold. I wonder if the barman questioned the long faces! ! !

Well If you ask me I wouldn't let my dog walk in that pub let alone myself. The windows are YELLOW, it STILL has xmas decs up and the beer is rank. If you go in there for a beer your bound to get a bad gut so best off to stick to bottles.!

Could do with a good clean so your arm don't stick to the bar and your feet to the carpet most of the people that go in there look as if they are fresh form shaun of the dead!!

plenty of,Do as you likeys, Beer not to bad, generally busy at weekends with live music and karaoke.
sunday lunch time best for live music, bar staff slightly moronic but friendly as long as you dont overdo the diction.
