Quite amazed by the previous comments,Popped in here during July and had a very nice pint of SA Tribute. The service was friendly and the beer patio was perfect, 7/10

paid more than 40 pounds for drinks and food for myself husband and kids. we received sub standard food a rump steak that had been cooked days before as the plate was completely dry no juices. absolutely disgusting . my daughter had chicken also cooked days before rock hard and stale feel to it. gormless landlord. i wish id stayed at home brought the ingredients and made it all myself. a place i would advise u all to avoid. there is a fantastic chippy a few doors away.

Alcoholics which lack discernment keep this place profitable. The Crown is much better...

this pub is too small and lacks any excitement. the service is ok but can be a little depressing at times .

Boorish landlord but lovely landlady, Black Country theme pub with a limited selection of beer/lager, attempts to provide cask ales have so far proved disappointing, pub full of rowdy tourists in summer and local yokels in winter. One to avoid - try the Crown opposite.
