Looks lively on weekend evenings at least.
The foyer was sealed of with Police tape a couple of saturday mornings ago.
Seems to attract a similar crowd to the Chamberlayne in Eastleigh town centre.

If you are a musician DO NOT play here. The landlord will rip you off and even though his punters love the music (and they are a good crowd), and I'm not just speaking on behalf of my band, others too, he will use brash language and be insulting words...Big fish - small pond.

Used to be rubbish but had a decent re-fit a few months ago.Looks now healthy enough to eat in.

This pub has just been taken over by a new couple and given a major re-furb.

It's now light, clean, and airy with benches out the front and a decked patio out the back.

beer is perfect, Fosters, kronie, san miguel, couple of real ales...

totally amazing turn around for what was a dire pub.

It's in Eastleigh mate. What do you expect? Surprised it isn't full of cyclops.

How can a pub on such a busy road always be so quiet?

When you go in to this pub you often feel like an unwelcome stranger. This might be due to the bar staff always being sat in one half of the bar chatting to their few regulars.

The one positive is that it's lunchtime snacks are OK. Otherwise it is a very average pub.
