please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

A new bar/restaurant has arisen incorporating this bar. Its address is 87-91 High Street, and is called the "Red Hot" Restaurant and bar. The old Litten Tree sign still hangs outside.

Probably slightly above average for a Leicester chain pub but for cheaper beer go to the High Cross and for both cheaper and better beer and food go to the Globe instead. They're both very nearby.

Average food, can be very slow on a weekend lunchtime or in the evening. The odd good beer from time to time, but there are better places to go.

Pleasant enough as Leicester chain pubs go. Food is decent although I have seen them mess up orders on more than one occassion. Big screen would be excellent for sporting events but they plonked two random pillars in front of it. Usually packed friday/saturday night.
