Expensive, and hardly an adventurous range of beers on offer, hardly surprising that it tends to be half-empty when other bars are heaving.

Stayed for 1 pint of Kronenbourg...The hefty price tag was reason enough to move on. I know it's the Merchant City, but I got the feeling the Michael was being taken.

Terrible place. It's supposed to be a BEER CAFE, yet the choice is worse than Sainsbury's! Four quid for a Duvel? Unbelievable. No idea if the beer is well-served though, because we didn't stay.

Great range of beers but far too expensive.

quite what this bar is supposed tobe is beyond me very poor range of foreign beers at way over the top prices and grubby decor

Wandered in one afternoon to see what it was like. Wandered out again completely underwhelmed by the speed of service.

Staff a little rude, beer quite expensive. Not really a real drinkers bar due to the suited clientele who seems a little effeminate (drinking peach snaps ???)

Very very expensive! How they can justify a pint of Erdinger at 3.90 is beyond me! It's not as if you are paying for an at table sevice or fabulous surroundings. A place to rip off people who value style over substance.
And my God the 'jazz' band who were playing?? I'm not an afficiando but it sounded worse than my 5 year old daughter's recorder class.

exspensive very average range of bottled beer not worth the effort

The friendliest pub in the merchant city. Family owned and not part of any "Chain". Run by the same people who used to run the Mitre, which is sadly closed down.
