please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I thought this pub was the best we found in Slough a couple of years back: in particular because it was not subject to what Funky's last remark says it now is.

Let's hope they move on.

Seems to be under new management and is not as good as it was.The beer is still good.At least one if not two proper beers are on tap. However the food is not as good as was the case. The pub also appears to be a refuge for dross no longer welcome in The Moon and Spoon.

Popped in recently for the first in time in about 10 years and was shocked, what was once a tiny little room sized pub had been massively extended. Have to say i really enjoyed my visit, very friendly chatty bloke behind the bar and a load of characters supping away which was good to see as it was as a tuesday lunchtime. Definitely recommend this pub and will go again

Wow! This pub is like the Tardis - when you walk through the door it opens up in to a bright, modern, stylish bar area and better still, there is a fabulous large pub garden to enjoy in all weathers - bright sunshine or rain.

There is a freindly atmosphere nurtured by the welcoming hospitality of the landlady, who also runs the brilliant music house Noctors in Maidenhead. Any music lovers will be glad to know that there is often good quality audio pleasure provided for our entertainment.

This pub is a very short stride from the town centre - turn right at the Wetherspoons on the high street and it is about 5 doors up. Well worth a stroll for a pleasant drink in the day or evening. You will definitely go back again, it is a gem.

Enjoy!

This pub has been refurbished throughout, it now has a large garden with decking area and water fountain, pool table, Dart Board, juke box, fruit machines, real ale and fine wines. Two open coal fires, Wooden floors and leather sofas.
Fresh Rolls and sandwiches made to order every day. kitchen/Barbecue area will be open in the summer.

The staff and atmosphere are friendly, its worth popping in to see the difference.

Lovely pub. Staff are always friendly and the local people, considering it's Slough are a friendly bunch too.
Beer is ok.....standard stuff nothing unusual.....which is good!!

Friendly little pub, with eclectic regulars.

Always worth a visit on the way home.

SKY T.V. for the football, and a nice drop of beer.

And its actually a little bit bigger inside, than it looks from the road. (well, just a little bit.)

Nice pub.

One of the stoic "real ale"-type pubs that remains in Slough (with a jukebox!).

Unfortunately some (aka, Wetherspoons/Lloyds, Yates/Que Pasa, et al) have given in to the infinite branding policy that seems to surround (corrupt?) the town, and by default, the country.

One-off style boozer or corporate typecast scum?
You decide.
