What a stupid idea - open a Pret a Manger right next door to a well established local business that already sells freshly made sandwiches and baguettes!!!

Its gone, probably being turned into a sandwich bar. Not that it ever looked that inviting before- never anyone in there in the evening.

Subject to a refit about a year or so ago where amazingly what little character it possessed was white washed away. I'm afraid if you're going to give a pub a make over into a trendy wine bar a couple of trips to Ikea and fresh cut flowers (carnations from the garage) just wont cut the mustard.

A circular pub on the corner (hence the name), it always packed full of tourists due to ir's location, therefore I have never managed to spend a satisfactory evening in here...
