I 2nd what anonymous said. You get kicked out after spending 20 quid on around for asking why they've poured me a shot I didnt ask for and singles instead of doubles. Avoid like the plague. Its a scam

Plenty of nice birds in here. Last few times ive been ive got a shag so happy days!

Bit pokey
whoagigi - 4 Dec 2008 14:31
I dont go here very often but when I have I must admit that I have had a bubble. Music is decent and no attitude to mention. Worth the extra couple of quid! ! !
BeerGutt - 24 Jul 2008 11:42
Pretty souless place filled with poncy pretencious folk. If you are a ponce - you will love the place.
fullersfan - 24 Aug 2007 15:43
nah its not really a pub, but monday nights is gd there - gd music, cheap student entry 1, cheap drinks 1 for vodka & coke
weds are also quite gd - 1 for vodka & red bull, music is oki, but not as gd as mondays
met a few fit lads in there, its a gd place 2 go on mondays, after havin been to the mill (2 doors down the road!) which is 1/pint on mondays. gd fun.
highly recommend it, tho it is small and normally packed. no more than oceana or the works

Not really a pub I dont think. More of a bar. The music is usually good but its expensive and you get some weirdos in there!

Good for a dance with your mates though.
Jo984 - 28 Sep 2006 10:40
Duno bout the pub though. Is it a pub? Hav been there a few times, but not sure. Looks more like a crazy hang out place for old ladies & toooo young lads.
anonymous - 25 Jun 2006 03:51
Never been there, but drove past one night on my way to Oseana in a cab and cought the bouncers eye... wow!

ANJIGANJ - 28 Mar 2006 20:26
overpriced drinks, the barman thinks hes tom cruise, the girls think their supermodels (!) and the blokes all have them mullet haircuts and wear 'vera wang' tweed jackets coz they saw them in GQ magazine.... HMMMMMM. if u like that sorta thing its all good!
DrunkenKarlz - 10 Jan 2006 17:08
Under New Ownership - This is a great spot for a night out so give it a go, the added bonus of the saxophonist and a drummer add to the superb music cranked out by the DJ's giving the latest sounds an extra twist. Prices are comparable with most late license bars anywhere but this place offers that little bit more. Go and have fun like everyone else in there !!! Not to be missed
anonymous - 31 Jul 2005 19:33
Really enjoyed this place. A bit expensive, but seems to keep out the Chavs which is all good in my book. Had a great night with House music and a live saxophonist as I can remember. Very friendly staff. I agree that the door policy is a bit stupid. The whole system to get in having to queue in the cold was always a problem.
amumd - 10 Feb 2005 14:52
When it first opened this place was quite good. Sadly their ridiculous door policy and desire to make you queue even when it's clearly half empty inside seems to have put people off. I actually saw the bouncer inspect some guys socks once before letting him in. What's all that about? Mind you, if you have one of those stupid mullet haircuts, use the word 'wicked' alot or enjoy over-priced bottled beer, it's definately worth queueing up for.!
anonymous - 24 Oct 2004 18:52
every night we have been we have had a wicked time!!! Lovely staff wicked DJ that plays the best tunes!!
Its a must!
Jodie - 31 Aug 2004 15:45
Nice house party feel about the place, good tunes and friendly staff. Wednesday nights are the best, not to busy.
Sam - 24 Aug 2004 23:26

I worked there at one point - whats happened to the place now - pretentious, pretentious, pretentious!! It used to be chilled and everyone there was in for a good time - not anymore! If your bling then get in...
e - 11 Jul 2004 18:12
wed nights are absolutely fantastic in Eivissa. steer clear of sunday nights though. full of ass holes.
burt lancaster - 15 Jun 2004 15:06
Totally agree with Patsy about the so called 'IT' girls of Kingston. Sunday is the best night to go...however be warned about Bank Holidays its heaving!! Last Bank Holiday I think they got a tad greedy as the place was so packed it wasn't very enjoyable and it was absolutely boiling in there!
Heidi - 19 May 2004 14:16
Nice little venue, but the attitude can be a bit frosty and pretentious on fridays and saturdays (the girls loos are heaving with pouting primadonnas and very hostile). Sunday nights, however, are fab - great music, great crowd, and really chilled atmosphere. Well worth the hangover at work on a monday morning!
Patsy - 14 May 2004 09:13
Since when did Eivissa start doing hip-hop and RnB? What night is this on? Are you sure you were at Eivissa?
JP - 15 Apr 2004 12:06
firstly where the hell can u dance, i walked in and thought to me myself, "ok where r the rest of the rooms" the pr told us 300+ fit in there, more like 100 people mate. everyones got attitude so be carefull if your not up to the lastest fashions and if ur not as skinny as a rake or the evil glances of get outta my territory might came at you with the fist and phone jacking. i was very uneasy when i was there, even the people that work there didnt exactly make you feel welcome. one good point i suppose is the music, real hip-hop and r&b althogh if you dont have the attitude of im from the ghetto and so much better than you then you might as well give up on the thought of even thinking of dancing. i would however suggest going there if you are blazed out of it but only if you dont get paranoia.
anonymous - 11 Apr 2004 21:06
Sometimes this place is fantastic and full of beautiful people and at other times its pants and full of fat uglies!Girls make sure u have a bash at dancing on the podium-its a right laugh especially if ur hammered and ur trying ur best to be seductive! Can the management please sort out the well annoying tingy jingle of 'Nelly&Kelly' in the girls loo&sort out the clockroom facility. Its pathetic that u run out of space at 11.30pm! Thanx
J.R.Hartley - 1 Apr 2004 17:13
i hear that keeny is leaving which is a shame as he is a top boy and one hell of a host! still a top place to visit and hope it continues so without him! we love you keeny, good luck!
the powderpuff girlies - 2 Feb 2004 02:30
Halo on a sunday is the best night in Kingston, without a doubt! An up for it crowd of the beautiful people of Kingston!! But the music provided by Halo is the best for miles around!
JR - 22 Dec 2003 14:08
well i think its great - one can pretend to be all la di da then get completely ratarsed on wine, fall over whilst trying to slide down the arm rail to the stairs and leave without worrying that next week one wont be able to do it al over again!!!
lb - 21 Nov 2003 16:48
The CZJ lookalike used to do the champagne in the VIP bit-she was a cracking looking bird and freindly with it, however she left just as this place seems to be going down hill. Bit pretentious to say the least, and they need some alternative music nights-RnB please. However, the Halo party on Bank Holiday in May was fab-well done guys!
Fiddy - 12 Nov 2003 11:16
When i went there, i went early in the evening there was a queue, when i got in my friends and i were the only ones in there(why queue??). It was good to start with, but as the crowds started piling in the heat started to rise to the point you could smell the heat. People in there are stuck up there arse's, but that doesnt bother me, and there is no attitude. Also where has that bird who looks like catherine-zeta jones gone she was so hot, i'd love to meet her again. She was the best thing behind the bar.
Harley Malone - 10 Nov 2003 08:24
in response to the last guy. eivissa is about the best thing on offer in kingston for anyone with a brain and some folding in their pockets.i have always had a top night in there with classy people! may i suggest that you do us all a favour and stick to the lesser clubs in the town so we can enjoy it more!
jack sparrow - 2 Nov 2003 21:10
This place is in serious danger of disappearing up its own arse. They make you queue to get in for no apparent reason (unless of course you're a mate of the bouncers). And then you have to share your space with the numerous Chardonnay totting Cosmo readers which seem to haunt the place. If you like air kissing and pretending your part of the 'in crowd' you'll love this place. It's actually worth a visit just to take the piss.!
crazyfunster - 2 Nov 2003 17:53
full of pretentious tossers- we love it - strict door policy - excellent- good music and good times had by all when you get in with the management and join a lock in - classic!!
lb - 6 Oct 2003 14:44
Love it in there!! Have met really fit men in there and enjoyed the music.
Blu Cantrell - 23 Sep 2003 18:49
A great night out! Place was heaving! Cool music - was funky house at the weekend together with the live music - very impressive!!! Worth a visit and worth the paying the extra (although not all that exrtra)!
anonymous - 22 Sep 2003 22:29
great on monday nights - why queue for an hour plus to get into Oceana, now Kingston's biggest student club, when you could be enjoying amazingly cheap drinks and entry for a more quality night at bar eivissa.my friends and i love it.
Izzy - 9 Sep 2003 18:00
This place is amazing it really is the best kept secret in kingston fantastic relaxing chrming great look and crowd when i was there wonderful saxophone player playing along with the tunes from the DJ. Great idea possibly the best club in Kingston but not a regular and i think you need to get in on the clickey atmosphere. Loved the decor in the toilets!
jay - 30 Jun 2003 14:13
i went there for a random night out after the mill with my girlfriend and her friends, its good to dance upstairs and the staff are quite funny, although the prices are scary and we kept hearing the same songs alot through out the night!i wasnt pissd and just imagining it..........honest!
james - 5 May 2003 18:08
I went here because the queue at the works was an hour and i'm glad i did!! music was diff and atmosphere laidback! and it was1 a carling wen i was there on a monday, but was a bit of a fight wen we there but was dealt wit okay so go for a change from the works
Sophie - 23 Apr 2003 16:08

anonymous - 23 Apr 2003 13:46
Bit sweet luv!!
Kitty Kat - 12 Mar 2003 14:37
Top gaff!! been drinking in Kingston for ten years and finally someone has given us a credible place to be seen in! fit birds, nice guys and never seen a hint of trouble. worth the extra quid or two if you ask me!!
jake w - 11 Jan 2003 17:41
Harder to get into than it would have been to get out of Alcatraz...

Late licence, High prices. best of the bunch for late drinkers.
Short Guy - 20 Sep 2002 03:33
Pub? Bar mate and the best in Kingston. Okay, so the drinks are a little more expensive than your average pub, but their not West End prices and your getting the same excellent service as if it were. If you want something a little more than a cheesy night out, which is pretty much all Kingston can offer, you will not find many places better in the 'burbs than here.

got anything to say about this pub?
