Excellent warm atmosphere in this St Austell owned village pub. Best beer in Exmouth by a long way. Landlord and Lady have made this pub great again. Definitely worth a visit, the Proper Job is a great pint!

A fairly large place with a really good atmosphere.
We stayed till closing time which is rare for us then got the last

A rating of 9/10 for me

Visited last night. First time in several years, as had heard that the place had picked up, after being a little on the rough side and full of bikers.

Must say I was impressed. This used to be a local of mine for ages, until a change of landlord allowed the beer to fall to a terrible standard. Even to the extent when a pint, of what I can only describe as sour vinegar, was not replaced; and I was told that was what "real ale" tasted like...

The Bass was well up to standard and Shandychia enjoyed her shandy as well. The one slight down side is the pool table in what was the lounge. Resulting in an excellent view of the players rear ends when you sit in the comfy seats.

Still dog friendly. Will sample the food next call.

this is truly one of the only real locals left in Exmouth!! The Staff are great, the beer is better and the atmosphere is really inviting.

This pub has fridges for display not cooling the beer! No joke they don't switch them on.
