I am 64, and divorced, and like socialising. I enjoy a good beer or two, and also like eating out, when I would normally drink a glass or two of wine. I have found the "Beer in the Evening site very useful in previewing places to eat out, and plan in future to be active in posting messages of my own experiences.

The Surrey Cricketers, Windlesham
Went there last Sunday (Father's Day) for lunch with the family. Staff were friendly and generally good atmosphere. London Pride was in good shape, but the food was a bit disappointing, though they were happy to accept our comments afterwards, and said that they are in the process of improving the food side, so we might try again another time.
