A nice original pub,dog friendly till Fri night.Good beer and quiz on Sunday.Worth staying for a game of click afterwards,particularly if the landlord calls the cards.Dont expect the locals to be friendly if you cant be bothered to speak to them.

The Crystal Palace, York

Nice Pub,usual no-expenses spared refurb by Sams.Excellent beer,always well kept.Good value food,no smoking while food being served.Nice atmosphere from reading the paper to hectic nights when the pub is full.Seperate Pool area with strong Pool teams playing regular matches.
