The Farmers Arms, Barrow In Furness

This pub has had a chequered history recently. The previous landlord gave up and alowed his family to run it whilst he and his wife went to Nth wales - every weekend. The pub wa on the brink of closure. It is now under new management. Ann and her daughter Jane are retturning the pub to its village status. Gone are the TV screens that were on constantly under the old management blaring out mindless pop videos. That was never the pubs image and now it is booming an excellant choice of ales and friendly management and customers.
