The Red Lion, Godalming

I agree with alexb - I think it's great to have a dog friendly pub in Godalming and it allows the pub to attract customers who might not otherwise bother to go out if it means leaving Fido at home. The Red Lion's dog friendly policy means there is something for everyone in Godalming. For those of you concerned about having dogs in pubs which serve food, there are many good food focused pubs round here (e.g. Dog & Pheasant in Brook, White Horse in Hascombe) which allow dogs. It's clearly not an issue for them.
