The Shore Inn, East Wittering

we own a holiday home nearby so use this pub a lot..its been recently very tastefully refurbed with plenty of outside decking/seating..it can get quite busy in high season weekends with both locals and holiday makers but there is a very nice friendly atmosphere and all are made welcome by the very efficient and friendly owners/managers and bar staff.. service from my experience is great with no obvious favouritsm shown to locals..have yet to try the bar/restaraunt meals though prices seem reasonable and food looks great..

our third year of trying this pub and it just gets worse by the visit.. we own a holiday home in the area and this pub is around the halfway mark on a favourite and regular lunchtime/evening stroll..the bar service is terrible..if there are more than 2 people in front of you you are in for a very long wait to be served by one of the robotic aussie/nz bar staff ( though to be fair on a recent busy sunday there was just one guy serving at the bar and doing the food orders)..service is terribly slow and unwelcoming and favours the local half pint a session well to do local mob..i cannot comment on the food as we havent had the time to spend more than a couple of hours there on recent visits!! AVOID!! by all accounts the lamb down the road is a lot more welcoming...
