The Cowley Brick, Uxbridge

I am a resident local to the Cowley Brick, and must admit I had avoided it like the plague for the last few years. After much persuasion from my partner I reluctantly visited the pub on Friday. I was pleasantly suprised to find the pub had been cleaned up in a number of ways. The interior and the all important ladies loos were much improved, and the other customers seemed friendly and welcoming. The new landlady and her partner gave the perception that they are commited to running a business for the local community, and respectful of the local residents. They are also good fun and very friendly!
I am not going to rate the pub at the moment as I am keen to see if the new landlords will deliver on their commitments. I did see enough to say it is worth a look and would recommend paying a visit to make up your own mind.
