The Imp, Bedminster

Happen to visit this pub last night 6/9/2007. Havent been to the The IMp for several months. On getting there at about 8pm the pub was empty no customers which i thought was odd as usually a very busy pub and the hug of the community. It soon became apparent why, the Landlord was having a 'domestic' with his partner and throw us out. We had only just sat down with our drinks, so the Landlord owes us for a round of drinks and a very spoilt evening. According to neighbours this happens all the time, so you would be better off visiting another local instead.

Assembly, Bedminster

I feel this is a very nice friendly pub where you can go and have a relatively quiet drink and cheap meal from time to time.

You have to be 18 or over to go in to the Assembly. This is good if you do not want children to be in there screaming or whatever. Not to say that children do scream in pubs! However, if you want to go in for a family meal (with kids under 18) then you are unable to do so.

The bar staff are relatively friendly.
