Queen Victoria, Theydon Bois

I have to fully disagree with the comments on here by briggen. The Queen Victoria in Theydon Bois is one of the nicest pubs in the area. Please do not listen to what briggen says. The staff are fantastic in this pub. They are so very friendly,the service is brilliant and Henry and Lesley are unique. When Henry and Lesley are off duty, the pub is run by very experienced staff, who certainly know how to treat people, with respect, efficiency and always a friendly smile. I have been going to the Queen Vic, ever since Henry and Lesley took over the pub, and all I can say about this pub is it is the very best in the area, otherwise, I would not bother going into it. There is only one sentence to say about this pub. The Queen Victoria is brilliant. Well done to Henry and Lesley and all their wonderful, friendly, efficient staff, and please ignore these comments by briggen which are most unjustified.

Queen Victoria, Theydon Bois

This pub is our local. We have been goping there for years. In the last two years or so,the running of this pub has been taken over by Henry and Lesley Maasdorp. You will never ever, find any guv'nors like this lovely couple. The pub is georgeous, very old worldly,, but what counts most of all is Henry and Lesley. Go on, give it a go and visit it. You will not be disappointed.
