The Marquis Of Westminster, Victoria

One London pub that seems to be bucking the trend of falling trade is the Marquis of Westminster, a corner pub that is by far and away the best "local" of any of the pubs in Pimlico. In addition to its own loyal band of followers The Marquis thrives on the passing trade provided by tourists staying in neighbouring three star hotels. There is plenty of banter from the friendly and long serving bar staff who provide not only a degree of degree of intimacy and continuity, but also snappy table service for those eating from a simple, not extensive but excellent value for money menu. Timothy Taylor Landlord and London Pride sell heavily but there is also a long wine list.
