The Wilkes Head, Leek

Generally at least 3 beers from Hartington, and a guest. All kept very well - the brewer is often found drinking in here, so you know it must be good ale!

Music on a Monday night, and three Sunday music festivals over the summer where there are about 20 local bands performing from noon to close. An excellent day out!!!

The Ironmarket, Newcastle under Lyme

Beer range often limited, and frequently poor quality.

As a real ale drinker, its one of the few pubs where I frequently drink larger.

Food service unreasonably slow.

Seems to have a rapid staff/management turn over there is still hope for the pub.
