The Lighter Inn, Topsham

Recently went to this pub for some beer and food. Beer generally good if you like Hall & Woodhouse - First Gold, Tanglefoot and Lemony Cricket on when we visited. Bar staff were generally helpful and a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the river.

However.... the food was absolutely shocking - everything seeming to come from either the microwave or the deep fat fryer. One person in our group ordered chicken which was actually raw in the middle. The rest of the party had food that was at best below average.

Summary - nice for sitting outside and enjoying a pint, but steer clear of the food - possibly one of the worst eating experiences I've had for some time.
