A cracking position for a pub, right by the river. Alas thats about the only good thing about it.
It's a hall and woodlouse pub so you can't expect much. The beer was ok considering its origin, the service can best be described as poor, and the atmosphere non existant.
Didn't try the food.

Fair to middling. Food is OK, beer is OK, but nothing more than that. Fairly pricy for what you get. Often a wait at the bar. No real atmosphere.

A great location and a wide ranging menu - My lunch was very tasty, but my friend's sandwich was stale.
All-in-all a pretty decent place - can't comment on the beer as I was suffering from last night's excess in a bad way.

This should be a cracking pub. A good range of beers, a good looking menu and the riverside location made for summer evenings. However the food was terrible. Both the Lamb Ragout and Lamb Chops, on the specials board, were tough. It didn't help that the manager informed me that the Chops were supposed to be cooked this way. I shall not be returning.

Prompt telephone service for booking. Good menu, good food, value for money. Excellent beer only Badger but very well kept. Lovely view over river. Minor problem with chair sorted at once. Only problem lack of parking in Topsham (could be due to a large funeral on the day)will certainly return
