The Queens Head, Rye

we didn't actually go into the pub except to go through it to stay in the hotel. so this is only really a review of the hotel & the staff we met. both of these were charming. the room had painted oak ceiling beams & real character from the pronounced slant of it's floor. the staff we met were relaxed, friendly, helpful & genuine. there was a crowd gathered round the pool table & sky sports is more involved than their website would have you believe, but as a place to stay whilst exploring rye, we found it hard to fault.
