Ye Olde One Bull, Bury St Edmunds

The decor, furnishings and pictures look like a job lot from a Next interiors closing down sale! Not at all as I remember it from a few years back.
The staff were friendly and efficient. They had Adnams bitter and Woodforde Wherry which was Ok, if a little cold for my taste. The food had plenty of flavour, portion size was good and was well presented.

The Mulberry Tree, Ipswich

Sorry to read the of the possible demise of this pub. I make regular use of it as it is convenient for a drink before and after shows at the Regent. I have always found service friendly and efficient, last Sunday was no exception. They had Tribute on and it was very good indeed.

The Ivy House, Stradbroke

I have enjoyed several visits here and last Saturday lunchtime was no exception. The Woodforde Wherry and the Piddle in the Wind were in top condition as was my mates Adnams. The food was superb and Egil and Sue make you feel so welcome. They really try so hard having introduced afternoon teas at weekends they now also offer breakfasts too! Well worth the journey.
