The Kings Head, Lichfield

This old town centre pub used to be the hub of Lichfield social life. A great building, but competing against the plethora of restaurants and posers bars in the area has turned it into a bit of a mish mash of old pub, and karaoke bar! HAs partially redeemed itself by saving the Lichfield Winter Beer Festival from the horrors of the men in black in the Garrick though!

One of a string of new posers bars in this area. This one used to be a Poundland type shop years ago, and has now been transformed into an ugly fake bar on two levels, selling overpriced booze in an atmosphere of over loud rave music. The name is an acronym from "Just one of those things." Unfortunately there's not just one of them, there's several of these holes in the area, (Lloyds No1, Chameleon Bar e.t.c.) and they're all equally awful!

The Fountain, Lichfield

A great old pub, quite a way from the town centre, but worth the effort! Virtually untouched victorian interior, and very good ales, including guest beers.
