The Fox and Hounds, Theale

As a non-smoker I found the heavily smoke-filled bar uncomfortable. I couldn't understand why there were signs saying 'No Smoking' actually placed on the bar whilst,in the rest of the bar area, smoking was allowed.
The pub is also a regular meeting place (3rd Wednesday of the month) for a group of transvestites, who initially congregate in the bar area. They are, however, allocated their own area.
