The Grouse and Claret, Belgravia
The Grouse and Claret is - quite simply - the best pub in London. Probably in the world. The landlord and landlady are brilliant. The staff are wonderful. The lager is excellent. The sleazy red cubicles are priceless. The downstairs bar is a revelation. The upstairs bar is unbeatable. If I could spend the rest of my life in just one place, this would be it. Yeah, I know I've rated it before. But a place this good deserves more than one highest score.
