The Fox and Hounds, Theale

The Fox has been a regular for us for many years. Situated about a mile outside the village of Theale and junction 12 of the M4, it's easy to reach but far enough out to have a country feel. There is also a good parking area and a garden for those warmer days. This year we decided to have our Christmas Meal at the Fox and booked in advance for 12 of us. The meal was a set meal which is ideal as there was no messing about with people trying to remember who ordered what! As always the food was great and the waitress service was friendly, efficient and polite. The pub is quite cosy with wooden beams, a sofa area at one end, a Pool table to burn off the dinner and a roaring open fire at the other end! We've always had excellent service there and would have no issue recommending it to others.
