Spaniards Inn, Hampstead Heath

This really should be a fantastic pub given the building, but I couldn't agree more with the comments about the service and the prices.

There was a young barman there who was being openly hostile to everyone he took orders from. He was struggling to understand what people were saying, but insisting that it was the native speakers who had trouble with their English, not him. The people he was serving (including myself) were being friendly, patient and understanding with him, but he was being incredibly aggressive for no particular reason.

Never in my life have I been treated so poorly in a pub. And that's saying a lot! This place needs the pub equivalent of Gordon Ramsay to go in, clear out the staff (especially management), and to start all over again. This place could be doing double the business it currently is.
