The Cavern, Raynes Park

What a difference the staff make - this pub was going down hill at a rate of knots - but is now heading back to great pub it once was. Forget your cheap beer in the chain pub, this is a free house and you pay a bit extra. The prices are reasonable for SW London. The juke box has been updated with some newer rock stuff, but still retains the old anthems. Aerosmith to ZZ top via the Pogues, Sex Pistols, AC/DC, Zepplin, Radiohead - you name it it's here. Yes it's load - it's f**kin rock! If it's to load - you're too old. And you are going to have to be with some of the customers of the old rock school and pushing into their 60's. You may even get a visit from Ronnie Wood (the Rolling Stones) who is known to drop in on occasion. Go for it Noel.

The Cavern, Raynes Park

Just had a brilliant night, live music supplied by the brilliant 'aerialdevice' who blew the place apart. Loads of money raised to send a sick child to America for treatment, an appearance by Noel (the owner, bar now opens late. Brilliant! What this pub is all about, good people good sounds and good beer!
