Loads of previous comments gone. how sad is it that people are dispondent and are unaware pubs like this earn good ratings. Also rating plumbeted from 7,5 to 6.2 how can that be ? (sent message two week ago still waiting explanation) Just left pub this evening after watching the presentation of the South manchester and Stockport pub of the month award.Which was well deserved.
This site has lost all credibility with me.

Further more, due to adverse, contradicory or paradoxical beliefs of our Southern cousins, we up north can recognise this is a forum regarding beer and the associated outlets whether it will be a bar, boozer, taproom or watering hole.So please dont show your Southern apotheosis of how you portray the north and your stereo typical Southern beliefs on this site.

please check the past reviews from the guilty one several reviews posted on the same day and guess what , a review was submitted about two crowns. clearly a case of mistaken identity if ever there was one.
i agree with realale rules this a unique pub very friendly and excellent ales.
my number one by far.
