The Plough, Sparsholt
The Plough is excellent. Sure the service can be slow when it's busy, but the staff are always sympathetic and the surroundings and beer make a wait a very enjoyable antidote to today's pace of life.
The menu is a little pricey, but the quality of food is excellent. The garden is a great place to end up after a walk in the locality. Younger children will enjoy the play area and most children will love the donkeys.
Best to book in advance, particularly at weekends.
